This website is purposely hosted on a new iPage account for my testing and server tracking purpose. The purchasing process was about five minutes (with PayPal payment) and I got the login details almost instantly in a confirmation email from iPage. Installing WordPress took less than five minutes and uploading my exisitng theme took another three. In short, it took less than 15 minutes for me to put up a WordPress powered site in. My Dislikes On iPage Hosting

However, there are a couple of issues about iPage I would like you know before you signup on iPage. One, iPage offers only shared web hosting service; users who need to upgrade their hosting server to cloud or VPS or dedicated will have to leave iPage. Although this shouldn’t be a problem for those who are just starting off (most webmasters started initially with a shared-hosting after all); it is a point worth noting down in case you are running a huge website.

Two, iPage renewal fees are rather expensive (but reasonable). When you first sign up with iPage now via my affiliate link, the price is $3.50/mo. This is actually the special offer made possible thru my partnership with the company. When you subscription is up for renewal one or two or three years later, the fees will be much higher than this – $6.99/mo for three year renewal, $7.99/mo and $8.99/mo for one and two year renewal. The renewal price seems reasonable to me but I do not want you to have any unpleasant surprise in future – so please bear this in mind. You can, nevertheless, switch between new and old iPage account to enjoy the promotional rate; but then again, that will be extra work.

In short, I highly recommend iPage for newbies and for those who are searching for budget hosting – it’s literally the best budget host available in the market.
